Human Factors in Intelligent Systems

Human factors such as cognitive load and trust affect human performance significantly in human-machine interactions. We have done extensive work on human factor research such as cognitive load modelling and trust examinations. We pioneered theoretical framework of measuring cognitive load through multimodal human behaviour, and provided much of empirical evidence on using human behaviour signals, and physiological responses to measure and monitor cognitive load.
